Dell PowerVault MD1200 Storage Array 6Gb MD12 Series 3.5 12-Bay SAS No HDDs. This DELL PowerVault was part of my dev lab that I was using to study for my MCSE and VMWare certifications.

It was connected to a DELL PowerEdge r710 with an h800 controller. With a firmware update, the controller properly recognized data and SAS drives. I was using two 8tb SAS drives and 3 6tb data drives without issue. Please note that this device does come with all of the drive caddys /sleds, but no drives and does not include the h800 controller card or the mini-SAS cables. Any licensure for software is not included.
