Dell SCv2020 SAS 10k RPM 15TB NAS network storage iSCSI10Gb/10GbE license-free

We are offering a unique high-performance storage system based on Dell SCv2020 Compellent 24-disk SFF SAS2 array. The original Dell Compellent was based on proprietary licensed Storage Center software running on FreeBSD 10.0. This system is running a standard FreeBSD 14.1 Release and is completely license-free and open.

You can use any standard small-form-factor SAS2/SAS3/SATA hard drive you want in this system, either SSD or HDD. Two hardware accelerated iSCSI 10 Gbps and two 10 Gbps Ethernet ports are available for block storage sharing and NFS3 or NSF4 file sharing. ISCSI makes it easy to connect to Windows, Linux, and MacOS at near wire-speed performance (see pictures). As configured, the array contains a single controller and 12 1.2TB SAS Enterprise hard drives rotating at 10,000 rpm. The storage is set up in RAIDZ ZFS configuration that can withstand failure of every 4th hard drive (33% redundancy). Two 1TB volumes are set up for iSCSI block sharing, one per SFP+ port. The rest of the disk space (about 12 TB) is available to NFS via two 10Gb ports. We are offering 90 days free tech support to help you integrate the system according to your unique requirements. There are 3 management interfaces available in this system: 10GbE management port for in-band SSH login, serial console interface that can be used to set up the network parameters, and an in-band web management interface. The login information for all three interfaces is supplied with the manual. Dual redundant hot-swap power supplies are installed.

One single-color LED indicator for power status. Two-digit display indicating the storage system ID number. ID button with a single color LED indicating startup and pressed states.
