Dell SCv2020 SAS 10k RPM 28TB array dual FC16Gb/10GbE license-free open storage

We are offering a unique high-performance storage system based on Dell SCv2020 Compellent 24-disk SFF SAS2 array. The original Dell Compellent was based on proprietary licensed Storage Center software running on FreeBSD 10.0. This system is running a standard FreeBSD 14.0 Release and is completely license-free and open. You can use any standard small-form-factor SAS2/SAS3/SATA hard drive you want in this system, either SSD or HDD.

In addition, two fibre channel 16 Gbps and two 10 Gbps Ethernet ports are available for block storage sharing and NFS3 or NSF4 file sharing at near wire-speed performance (see pictures). As configured, the array contains a single controller and 24 1.2TB SAS Enterprise hard drives rotating at 10,000 rpm. The storage is set up in RAIDZ ZFS configuration that can withstand failure of every 4th hard drive (33% redundancy). Two 2TB volumes are set up for FC block sharing, one per FC16 port.
